Theory is essential part of the discipline and training of martial-arts. While theory comprises of many aspects, we thought we might simply mention some basics you should know through images. Can you name each of the below weapons?
The five principle weapons of Okinawa Kobudo include the Bo, Sai, Nunchaku, Kama and Tonfa. Some other lesser known weapons are Ekku, Nitan Bo, Surichin, Tekko and Tenbei.
Incidentally, in mainland Japan, kobudo refers to the weapons of the Japanese samurai.
